Save Our Spirit opens with Lord Longstep and Mary meeting at a party for the East India Company in Bombay, and falling instantly in love. They have everything in common, including a deep interest in the world of the occult. After a whirlwind honeymoon, a mysterious secret DARK society has kidnapped Mary Longstep for her mystical powers!
Lord must find powerful artifacts in his quest to locate his wife, but will find these treasures are stolen right from under him at each step. As Longstep moves around the world with Save Our Spirit game, you’re faced with busy scenes — such as the inside of an African cave, the outside of an Egyptian pyramid or the waterfront of a South American port city — and you must find well-hidden objects listed at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes you’ll be asked to find a dozen related items, such as «12 pieces of paper» or «12 tools,» and so forth. Save Our Spirit also has some adventure game-like puzzles, where you can use an item you found in the environment in order to advance the story.
